City Provides Update on Tony Slone

The following is an update on the status of Tony Slone, who served as superintendent of the City’s Electric Department. He remains on unpaid administrative leave, on which he was placed Aug. 24. However, he has a right to request payment for compensation earned prior to his change of employment status.

Payment is consistent with Ohio Revised Code and with the recommendations of the city’s consultant on employment matters, Clemans Nelson.

According to City Auditor Brian Treisch, Mr. Slone has enough time remaining to request a partial payment for the pay period ending Oct. 14, which totals 64 hours at $2,462.72.
