While we do sometimes need to call customers, you will never be asked to make a payment by giving credit card or banking information over the phone. If you are asked to provide this information, the call is likely a scam. Please hang up and report it to the Police Department at 419-468-9111.
On-Line Bill Pay Payment of utility charges may be made online with a credit card, debit card, or check. As of March 1, the city's online provider is Secure Pay. This guide will help you create an account, otherwise click the icon below to go to our on-line payment portal:
When making an online payment, it takes one business day for payments to show online. If you make a payment and are not sure if it went through, DO NOT make a second payment. Please contact the Galion Utility Office for verification of the transaction, or opt in to receive verification emails through your online account.
From Your Bank Account You may pay directly from your bank account. The due amount is electronically withdrawn from your bank account each month on the due date. Payments will not show until the next business day following your payment. A bill is still provided to you so that you’ll know in advance what amount will be withdrawn. To enroll, please complete and return the enrollment form. A voided check must be included with the completed form so that we use correct banking information. In Person Payments are also accepted in person at 115 Harding Way East between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may pay by check, credit/debit card, money order, or cash.
